CONFERENCE

The event will take place at the occasion of the United Nations International Day for Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace. The university diplomacy event is presented as a one-day conference organized in three sections.


Section I

international law and cybersecurity will provide legal frameworks for prosecuting cybercrimes, the role of international humanitarian law in cyber warfare, digital sovereignty and data protection law, human rights in the digital age, regulatory harmonization and international treaties.


Section II

The section II of the conference will focus on diplomacy and cybersecurity. In this section, diplomats, scholars and civil society representatives, including youth, will give presentations on cyber diplomacy and multilateral engagement, digital peacebuilding and conflict prevention, public-private partnerships in cyber diplomacy, capacity-building and cyber diplomacy for developing states, digital diplomacy and foreign policy strategies, the geopolitics of cyberspace, techno-nationalism and strategic autonomy, disinformation, hybrid threats, and information warfare, cybersecurity and sustainable development.

Section III

Section III of the international event at UNOV concerns the international law and its current trends.
